Jie Gao, School of Pharmacy graduate student in the Center for Pharmacogenetics, was selected for a podium presentation titled “Sex-Specific Effect of Estrogen Sulfotransferase on Mouse Models of Type 2 Diabetes” at the School of Medicine’s Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology Retreat held at the Twentieth Century Club on February 3, 2012. Gao works in the laboratory of Dr. Wen Xie and is a recent recipient of the Molecular Pharmacology Graduate Fellowship awarded by the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology, with whom Dr. Xie has a secondary appointment.
