The Fourth Annual School of Pharmacy Health Fair held on Friday, April 19th, 2013 was a successful show of effort and research from the P1 students, class of 2016. Their hard work and dedication over the past three months made for a fun and informative event. The students presented information taken from the classroom to members of our community. The goal was to educate the local community on health risks and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Some of the booths included information on weight control, diabetes, smoking cessation, cholesterol management along with healthy living tips, blood pressure screening and breast cancer awareness.

The Student Health Fair is part of the course Profession of Pharmacy 2 conducted by assistant professor Tara Pummer
