Graduate students Hari Kaluri, Kacey Anderson, and Tao Long were selected to participate in the Jonas Salk Fellowship for 2013-2014. The Jonas Salk Fellowship is a unique educational program that brings together students from a diverse array of health-related graduate programs throughout the region to discuss paramount issues confronting health care. This year’s fellowship is particularly exciting, as students will focus on the recently passed Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and its effect on the health care system.
Kacey Anderson is a current graduate student in the Clinical Pharmaceutical Science Program. Faculty members Samuel M. Poloyac and Philip E. Empey, are Anderson’s advisors.
