The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) recently presented Brandon Antinopoulos, University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, with the 2014 Outstanding Pharmacy Student Award at The School of Pharmacy Dinner and Hooding Ceremony held on April 27, 2014.

Antinopoulos is an active PPA member and has participated in multiple PPA Conferences, Pharmacy Legislative Day, the Achieving Independence Competition geared for those interested in Independent Pharmacy, and received PPA’s Special Interest Group for Independent Pharmacy (SIG) National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Grant. He also served as the University of Pittsburgh PPA Chapter Delegate in 2012-2013.

In addition to his involvement with PPA, Antinopoulos is a member of NCPA and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) where he presented a research poster at the 2013 Annual Convention. He also completed an Area of Concentration in Community Leadership, Innovation, and Practice (CLIP) through the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
