PittPharmacy_WenXie_0067Wen Xie, MD, PhD was an invited speaker at the Tamburro Liver Symposium held in Louisville, Kentucky, September 11-12, 2014. The Tamburro Liver Symposium, sponsored by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), was a dedicated conference on environmental chemicals and liver disease.  Xie spoke in the session of “Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons”. The title of Xie’s presentation was “The Hepatic Function of AhR, the Expected and Unexpected.”

Wen Xie, MD, PhD, is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacology, Director of the Center for Pharmacogenetics, and Joseph Koslow Endowed Chair in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
