PittPharmacy_QITWinningTeam_2015For the second year in a row PittPharmacy faculty member Janice L. Pringle, PhD mentored the winning team for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation QIT Health Innovators Fellowship. The team won both the top juried prize and the crowd pick.  Team members proposed the development of an application that would provide information across 5 domains (including medication management) for caregivers of elderly frail persons who still live unassisted.

The mentors of the team were Dr. Jan Pringle and Dr. Neil Busis. The team members were Laura Mazurkewicz, Lavina Kenkre, Michael Arnold Mages, and Matthew Niesslein.

Pringle is an associate professor in the pharmacy and therapeutics department at the School of Pharmacy.
