Huijun Chen, a student from Tsinghua University in China completed her research work at the School of Pharmacy and returned to her university in August 2015. Chen is the first student to join the School of Pharmacy from this collaborative program. The program is a partnership between University of Pittsburgh and Tsinghua University bringing undergraduate students to the University of Pittsburgh for research experience.
Chen worked with Raman Venkataramanan, PhD, professor, in the pharmaceutical sciences department at PittPharmacy, (right) and Steleanos Caritis, MD (left) from Pitt School of Medicine on projects to evaluate the effect of pregnancy on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs in pregnancy.
