The Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. received several distinctions at the Mountain East Province Fall Assembly in Buffalo, New York, October 2017. The Chapter won the Academia Award of Excellence as well as the Recruitment Award of Excellence.
PharmD Class of 2019 members Jia Gao and Rachel Young were elected as Mountain East Province Treasurer and Chaplain, respectively. Abigail Elmes (Class of 2019) won the Mountain East Province Professionalism Scholarship for demonstration of active involvement in an organization that exemplifies the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
