Heather J. Johnson, PharmD, BCPS has been designated to the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialty Council Inaugural Appointment
The BPS Specialty Councils serve three major functions:
- Developing standards and eligibility requirements for board certification in Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy for approval by the BPS Board of Directors
- Developing examinations and setting the passing standard for initial and continuing certification of Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialists
- Approving and reviewing professional development programs for re-certification of Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialists.
Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Department at PittPharmacy.
