PittPharmacy Alumna Rebecca Wytiaz ’18 was recently awarded the Young Investigator Award by the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG) at the PPAG Annual Conference in Oklahoma City, April 2019. The award is given to a pharmacist with less than 5 years in practice.

Wytiaz’s abstract “Evaluation of the appropriateness  of antifungal use in the pediatric and cardiothoracic intensive care units at a children’s hospital.” was selected as the award recipient among the five finalists.


The mission of PPAG is to promote safe and effective medication use in children through Collaboration, Advocacy, Research, and Education.
