Christine M. Ruby, assistant professor, department of pharmacy and therapeutics, was elected as Secretary of the Geriatric Pharmacy Special Interest Group (SIG) for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. She will be inducted into her cabinet position at the upcoming annual meeting this July Chicago.
Ruby is also an invited speaker at the geriatric educational session “Reducing Harm in the Elderly: A Focus on Delirium, Falls, and Medication Errors” to be presented at the upcoming ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
Christine M. Ruby is a clinical pharmacy specialist in geriatrics at UPMC Shadyside- Senior Care Institute and is the Director for the PGY2 Geriatric Pharmacy Residency Program.
