The pioneering cohort of University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy P4 students, Rachel Byerly, Pam Lyons, Lukas Martin and Evan Williams began the first day of the Pharmacotherapy Scholars Program on Monday, June 17, 2013. The program is a 20 week integration of APPE rotations developed collaboratively by the School of Pharmacy and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital to prepare students for a PGY 1 residency.
Jon Horton, PharmD is the director of pharmacy at UMPC and faculty members James Coons, PharmD, BCPS (AQ CV) and Christopher R. Ensor, PharmD, BCPS-CV are program co-directors.
