PittPharmacy faculty member Michael Shullo, PharmD won the Best Educational Presentation Award for his lecture entitled Antidotes for Alloimmunity – Principles of T cell-Directed Therapies at the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) Academy: Core Competencies Curriculum and Academy in Basic Science and Translational Research in San Diego.

PittPharmacy faculty member Michael A. Shullo, PharmD ’95, ’97 is an invited speaker for the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation” (ISHLT) Academy Core competencies in Basic Science and Translational Research on April 9, 2014 in San Diego, California. The topic  of Shullo’s presentation is Antidotes for alloimmunity – principles of T-cell directed therapies. The Academy is an all day educational event focusing Core Competencies in this discipline.

Prior to the ISHLT annual meeting, Shullo will present his  research entitled Transplant Pharmacist Evaluation Prior to Heart Transplantation Uncovers Medication Noncompliance as a Common issue. 

Michael A. Shullo is an associate professor in the pharmacy and therapeutics department at the School of Pharmacy.
