The Delta Chapter of Lambda Kappa Sigma at the University of Pittsburgh raised over $2,000 to benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) on Friday, March 27, 2015. Their event, ‘TEAL Tap’ was designed to raise awareness and break the silence on ovarian cancer. The event was attended by ovarian cancer survivors, supporters, speakers, and students. Widely known, the awareness ribbon for ovarian cancer is teal colored and the NOCC’s national initiative is “Take Early Action and Live” (TEAL).
