Chai Ling Ong, an international clinical pharmacy trainee in the department of pharmacy and therapeutics at the School of Pharmacy, presented the first pharmacy continuing education program with high-fidelity human patient simulation in Singapore.
This is the first pharmacy simulation educational research study performed in Singapore in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Participants took part in a comprehensive heart failure patient case where they assessed the patient care needs, recommended pharmacotherapy, and monitored the impact of medication therapy.
