Kacey Anderson was selected for the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics summer internship within the research and development department at CSL Behring. CSL Behring is a global leader in the plasma protein biotherapeutics.
Through this unique training opportunity, Anderson will spend ten weeks at their site in King of Prussia, Pa. and gain hands-on experience conducting pharmacometric analysis within the pharmaceutical industry. Anderson will gain first-hand insight into (a) the nature of pharmacometric data generated within industry, (b) the processes and systems involved in data analyses, (c) analytical and clinical decision making related to pharmacometric conduct, and (d) functioning of matrix teams.
Anderson is a PhD Candidate in the clinical pharmaceutical scientist program at PittPharmacy. Her Co-Advisors are Samuel Poloyac, PharmD, PhD, FCCM and Philip Empey, PharmD, PhD, BCPS.
