Members of PittPharmacy graduate program were well represented at the recently held Regional Research Forum 2015 at Morgantown, West Virginia. This event on June 19, 2015 was jointly co-hosted and funded by the AAPS chapters at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy and University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
The purpose of the one day forum was to learn more about the theme Team Science: Improving Patient Outcomes through Multidisciplinary Research through sharing research goals and achievements with other students and scientists from industry and clinic. Attendees were also able to connect and collaborate with regional AAPS and ISPOR chapters. Opportunities were provided for educational podia presentations of current topics under the umbrella Team Science. There were 60 poster presentations of which PittPharmacy won 10 awards (including first and second places).
