PittPharmacy Dean Patricia D. Kroboth was honored with the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania’s 2017 Woman of Distinction Award in Health Care on May 31, 2017.

The Awards of Distinction recognizes eight outstanding professional women, two impressive high school students and a Girl Scout community-champion corporation. This premier event supports the Girl Scouts’ mission to develop courage, confidence and character in girls and to inspire the next generation of young women to become the leaders of tomorrow.

According to the program and as part of her introduction, “Dr. Kroboth has led the Pitt Pharmacy community to a shared vision for the School of Pharmacy, which is now a leader in pharmacy education, a research school of distinction and an innovator in pharmacy practice, including the pharmacist’s role in the community.”
