Distinguished Alumni Fellow Gordon Vanscoy with Chancellor Patrick Gallagher

Gordon Vanscoy currently serves as the associate dean for business innovation and an associate professor of pharmacy and therapeutics in Pitt’s School of Pharmacy. He previously founded UPMC’s Drug Information and Pharmacoepidemiology Center, developed one of the nation’s first anticoagulation clinic services, and in 2008, received the School of Pharmacy’s Distinguished Alumni Award. Gordon and his wife Bethann jointly support programs such as Pitt Athletics, the School of Pharmacy’s annual White Coat Ceremony, the Naples Winter Academy, and the Dr. Gordon Vanscoy Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences endowed professorship, among others.
