PittPharmacy members of Kappa Psi had a very successful year! The proof is in the numerous awards given in their recognition.
PittPharmacy’s Beta Kappa chapter was ranked as the 6th Top Performing Collegiate Chapter out of 114 chapters internationally. This was chosen based on the members’ collective academic, professional, and extracurricular achievements and leadership in the field of pharmacy.
One of the chapter’s advisers, Dr. Karen Hoang, was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for her exceptional guidance and contributions to the development of the Chapter and its members.
Melanie Umbaugh (Class of 2021) and Vincent Knecht (Class of 2022) were awarded Foundation Scholarships on the basis of high academic and professional achievement, leadership, and recommendations.
