Sue Skledar (Pharm ’88; MPH ’91), MPH, FASHP, Professor and Director of Experiential Learning and Continuing Professional Development, has been appointed as Co-Editor of the new national Preceptor Competency Assessment Center (PCAC) from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Skledar is an active member of ASHP and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and she has served in leadership positions at ASHP from 2013-2020. The PCAC is a national preceptor development resource and competency completion tool for pharmacists involved in precepting advanced and introductory pharmacy practice experience students and pharmacy residents. Skledar is collaborating with PittPharmacy resident alumni Dr. Michelle McCarthy from the University of Virginia Heath System, and an expert team of national preceptor leaders for this project.
