Dr. Deanne Hall has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists (PSHP) Ambulatory Care Task Force. This group is leading PSHP’s efforts to re-write the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Practice Act to expand collaborative practice and advocate for reimbursement for pharmacy services. The task force will be holding an Ambulatory Care Summit on 9/10/21, which will help develop a strategy to advance the number of pharmacists engaged in patient care under collaborative agreements by obtaining reimbursement and modifying laws to facilitate medical providers and pharmacists entering into collaborative practice agreements. Dr. Hall, thank you for leading the way in reshaping the practice of pharmacy in Pennsylvania!
