Skledar Susan RPh MPH Pharmacy

Sue Skledar (Pharm ’88; MPH ’91), BS, MPH, FASHP, Professor and Director of Experiential Learning and Continuing Professional Development at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, was recently appointed as Chair of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Section of Pharmacy Educators Advisory Group (SAG) on Student Education and Learning Experiences.

Skledar will be working with over 20 educators from across the US to create tools and resources to support pharmacy educators in preparing, engaging, and advancing student pharmacist learning as part of the pharmacy workforce to optimize health. The SAG will work to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence/humility among the pharmacy workforce; advance the well-being and resilience for student pharmacists; promote interprofessional learning experiences; and advocate for inclusion of student pharmacists in early practice learning experiences.
