PharmD. candidate Joseph Chen received the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Special Interest Group (PPA SIG) grant to attend the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Annual Convention in Kansas City, MO this fall. The NCPA organization is the voice for independent pharmacy, representing 19,400 pharmacies and employing more than 215,000 individuals nationwide.
The grant covers all expenses related to the trip, and is given to students with an interest in community pharmacy – particularly independent pharmacy. Drs. Walsh and Jonkman wrote the recommendation letters for Chen.
