Professor Kim C. Coley, PharmD, FCCP has been selected to serve as a scientific reviewer for the August 2013 cycle of Addressing Disparities funding applications for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). PCORI’s mission is to “improve health care delivery and outcomes by producing and promoting high integrity, evidence-based information that comes from research guided by patients, caregivers, and the broader health care community.”  The Addressing Disparities funding announcement seeks to promote comparative effectiveness research to reduce or eliminate disparities in health and health care. Coley’s responsibilities include reviewing up to 10 grant applications and participating in an in-person Merit Review Panel Meeting in Washington DC in November.

Kim C. Coley is a faculty member of the pharmacy and therapeutics department at the School of Pharmacy.
