Faculty member Wen Xie, MD, PhD was an invited speaker at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) annual meeting held in San Antonio, Texas, on November 10-14, 2013.  Xie spoke at the symposium of Xenobiotic Nuclear Receptors: More than Master Regulators of Drug Disposition. The title of Xie’s presentation was CAR and PXR: Novel Therapeutic Targets in Obesity and Diabetes.

Wen Xie is a professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the School of Pharmacy, the Joseph Koslow Endowed Chair in Pharmaceutical Science, and director of the center for pharmacogenetics.
