Graduate Student Mengxi Jiang has been chosen for a podium presentation at the Endocrine Society annual meeting to be held in Chicago, Illinois, in June 21-24, 2014. Jiang will speak at the session of Basic Mechanisms of Glucose Homeostasis and Diabetic Complications. The title of Mengxi Jiang’s presentation is Hepatic over-Expression of Steroid Sulfatase Ameliorates Mouse Models of Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes through Sex-Specific Mechanisms.
Jiang a student in the biochemical pharmacology program track at the School of Pharmacy pharmaceutical sciences department. Her primary faculty advisor is Wen Xie, MD, PhD.
