PittPharmacy faculty member Wen Xie, MD, PhD was an invited speaker at the 53rd Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting held in Phoenix, Arizona on March 23-27, 2014. Xie spoke at the symposium of Does This Chemical Make My Liver Look Fat? (Environmental Exposures and Steatosis). The title of Xie’s presentation was Xenobiotic Receptors in Fatty Liver Disease, the Expected and Unexpected.
Wen Xie is a professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the School of Pharmacy, the Joseph Koslow Endowed Chair in Pharmaceutical Science, and director of the center for pharmacogenetics.
