Susan M. Meyer, PhD will serve as the inaugural chair of the National Center Nexus Learning System Advisory Committee — the advisory committee for the Interprofessional Continuing Education Program within the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education.
In her invitation to Dr. Meyer, Dr. Barbara Brandt, director of the National Center, stated,
“I am excited to bring together this small group of forward thinking member if the interprofessional (IP) education community to help shape and support the vision of the National Center’s IP continuing education program. You will be instrumental in helping achieve the National Center’s IP CE mission: Improving the health of the nation by advancing the continuum of interprofessional lifelong learning innovation, research, and continuous quality improvement.”
Meyer is the associate dean for education at PittPharmacy and professor in the pharmacy and therapeutics department. She is also a leader within the University of Pittsburgh Working Group on Interprofessional Education.
