Students from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy participated in CRUCIAL CATCH DAY, a breast cancer awareness day, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Wadsworth Hall in the Oak Hill Community. Sponsored by UPMC Matilda Theiss Health Center, the NFL, and the American Cancer Society, the event highlighted the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
PittPharmacy students served as general support staff and took blood pressures at the Ask the Pharmacist booth. More than 100 people from the community participated in this educational event.
