PittPharmacy_MorganCasal_0013PittPharmacy’s Morgan Casal (Class of 2019)  has accepted an appointment to serve on the national American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Clinical Practice Affair Committee for 2017.  Casal is one of only 16 student pharmacists and the only second year student pharmacist from across the nation to be invited to serve on an ACCP standing committee.

The committee is responsible for developing an issue brief that describes how clinical pharmacists can best contribute to optimizing the medication outcomes for patient populations and recommends how ACCP can promote clinical pharmacist activities that improve population health. Casal will be serving on the committee with PharmD and PharmD/BCPS clinicians from across the country.
